Since when do you evolve in music?
Quentin :
Music has always been a passion and a hobby for me. I have had several musical projects (mostly covers) with friends in styles ranging from folk trio to rock band. Since 2018, I have been developing the solo project Bubar in which I find a pure folk essence.

What are your musical influences?
Quentin :
I listen to a lot of different styles of music, rock, jazz, metal, film music, etc. But it's American folk that inspires my music for Bubar. But it's the American folk music that inspires my music for Bubar the most. I think of artists like Neil Young, Bob Dylan obviously, but also more recent artists like Joseph Arthur, Mandolin Orange, Shakey Graves, etc.

Have you already recorded an album or an EP?
Quentin :
It's a project that has been on my mind for a year. I am working on it.

Which song fits you best?
Quentin :
Very complicated indeed. I would say 3am by Gregory Alan Isakov and Squirm by Dave Matthews Band

Quentin :
Dave Matthews without hesitation.

What are your other passions or interests besides music?
Quentin :
My other passions come and go while my passion for music remains ever present. I really enjoy reading science fiction, playing go and I try to do some photography. You see, I spread myself a bit thin.

What is the unmentionable song you sing in your shower?
Quentin :
I don't really sing in the shower much more in my car. As for the unmentionable songs, if you feel like singing them you should be proud of them, even if it's the latest pop soup heard on the radio.
