AZELMA spits its first venom with 'Swallowed By My Own Sins'
A deluge of sound marked by fury and technique
Nice-based black death metal quartet AZELMA celebrate the release of their debut EP, a torrent of rage and virtuosity, with an explosive concert last Saturday, sharing the stage with Klone
On Saturday, AZELMA rocked the stage with the release party for "Swallowed By My Own Sins", an EP as brutal as it is masterful. These six tracks of technical death metal leave nothing to chance. Every riff, every howl from frontman Tristan Raverdino, hammered the Cannes audience, leaving no room for complacency.
A profession of metallic faith
More than just an EP, "Swallowed By My Own Sins" is a veritable demonstration of power. Recorded at Studio Artmusic by Sébastien Camhi and fine-tuned by Gautier Serre and Thibault Chaumont, this album reveals a band at the peak of their powers. Between Romain Viale's blistering riffs, Maelan Lopez's relentless striking and Arthur Valerioti's monstrous bass, AZELMA offer an experience as brutal as it is cathartic, combining the pure violence of death metal with a technical precision worthy of the greatest.
Each track, from "The Greatest Moment Of Your Life" to "Perception Fatale", invites the listener to plunge into an abyss of rage, between chaos and introspection. It's not just a record, it's a cry, a visceral pulse of life and death.
A future etched in rock
If Saturday's concert confirmed one thing, it's that AZELMA are ready to make their mark on the black death metal scene. With "Swallowed By My Own Sins", the band unveils a new facet of the French extreme scene: raw energy, a sound carved from rock, and uncompromising ambition.
