The Rock' n Roots Festival celebrated its 9th edition on July 13, 2024, at the Parc de la Moulière de Caille, between Grasse and Castellane, in the Alpes-Maritimes.
A new page has been turned at the Rock 'n Roots festival, marking a colorful and sonorous edition. This not-to-be-missed musical event attracted a large audience thanks to its artistic diversity and friendly atmosphere. Indeed, the festival is renowned not only for the quality of its performances, but also for its unique setting at the foot of the ski slopes, offering a good-natured atmosphere. This musical event once again delighted music fans with its eclectic program and flawless organization, spearheaded by the Baouroux association, in partnership with Live Acoustic Production and the Caille town council. Some thirty zealous and benevolent volunteers worked alongside the organizers to ensure the best possible welcome for festival-goers, band members, technical staff and ourselves. Their commitment and passion made the day a real success. This ninth edition required a great deal of preparation to coordinate everyone's efforts and guarantee an unforgettable experience for festival-goers.
This year's line-up was particularly rich, featuring a wide variety of groups and styles, to the delight of the audience. The duo Up Gratt opened the festivities with their gypsy rock covers, instilling an infectious energy from the very first notes. Mireil m'a tuer followed with their crazy rock compositions, thrilling the stage with their powerful, committed text songs; grunge pop band No End Date brought their energetic, melodic touch, while Crab Eaters got the crowd dancing with their clever blend of rock, reggae and ska. Park In Son continued with a frenzied punk rock performance, followed by the explosive closing set from Rising All Star and their unleashed nu metal.
Each band brought its own musical signature, creating a unique and exciting mosaic of sound. The large, enthusiastic audience was there in force, contributing to an electric atmosphere throughout the day. The diversity of musical genres ensured that there was something for everyone, and a memorable experience for all.
As a result, the ninth edition of the Rock 'n Roots festival at the Parc de la Moulière was a complete success, thanks to exemplary organization, quality programming and a warm atmosphere.
